How to turn a bad day into a good drawing by Maria-Ines Gul.

Maria Ines Gul is a London based artist and designer with a strong interest in expressive portraits, textile narratives, fashion illustration, book design and decorative typography.

Hello!

This is @mariainesgul. I’m an illustrator based in London.

I mostly work on paper and Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pens are great for quick sketches. Sometimes I cheat and use brush pens in my paintings (like this red jumper here).

In my work I quite often focus on feelings and body language and my sketchbooks are full of self portraits.

At the Affordable Art Fair,  I will be running a therapeutic illustration workshop; teaching visitors 'How to turn a bad into a good drawing'.
