Graf von Faber-Castell Intuition range

It will not be long now before Graf Von Faber-Castell launch their new edition to the Intuition series. Thanks to their slim silhouette, the pens and pencils in the Intuition and Intuition Terra series have become genuine collectors’ items. Made of superior synthetic material, their gleaming polish gives them an unusual aura and they are very comfortable pens to use. The fountain pen won the 2010 ‘red dot’ design award for that reason.

The portfolio has now been extended to include the Intuition Platino series. Elegant as ever, but with a somewhat thicker barrel, each writing instrument is formed from a single piece, no screw thread interrupts the purist lines, while the gently curved finger grip makes them extremely comfortable to hold. In the case of the fountain pen and rollerball pen, the intense black is effectively accentuated by the platinum-plated metal cap. That in turn is crowned by a polished black inlay depicting the Faber-Castell crest. The characteristic trumpet shape of these writing implements, the finely ribbed end caps and the spring-loaded clip are familiar to all who appreciate the writing culture embodied in the Graf von Faber-Castell brand. The Intuition Platino series comprises a fountain pen, liquid-ink rollerball pen, twist-action ballpoint pen, and propelling pencil. The fountain pen is equipped with an 18-carat bicoloured gold nib. The nib module and the practical cartridge/converter ink system extend when the end of the barrel is twisted; the cartridge can then be quickly replaced or the pen filled from an inkwell. The rollerball pen with its smooth-running precision point containing a ruby ball is most attractive, and the magnum-size refill gives long-lasting writing pleasure. The ballpoint pen also contains a large refill. There is a replaceable eraser under the cap of the pencil. This new addition to the Intuition series is coming soon!
